Today is dedicated entirely to experiencing the magic of the desert. After breakfast, step into your private 4×4 vehicle for an off-road journey across the Erg Chebbi dunes. We will visit a traditional nomad family living in a canvas tent to learn about their daily life and share a fresh cup of Moroccan mint tea. Next, we drive to Khamlia village, where you will listen to spiritual, rhythmic Gnawa music performed live by local black musicians whose ancestors came from sub-Saharan Africa.
After trying a famous local Berber pizza for lunch, we return to the hotel to prepare for the highlight of the trip. As the afternoon air cools, you will mount a camel for a peaceful trek deep into the high sand dunes. Stop on a high ridge to watch an unforgettable Sahara sunset before arriving at your luxury desert camp for a multi-course dinner, traditional drumming around a central campfire, and incredible stargazing.

Wake up early to catch a spectacular sunrise illuminating the vast desert canvas. After a fresh breakfast at the camp, you will return from the dunes to meet your driver and head west toward the rugged Atlas mountains.
Our first major stop is the magnificent Todra Gorge, a jaw-dropping limestone river canyon with sheer rock walls that rise 300 meters into the air. Take an easy, refreshing walk along the cool riverbed before we continue our drive into the beautiful Dades Valley. The road winds through stunning red rock formations known locally as “monkey fingers” due to their unique, weathered shapes. Check into your valley Riad for a peaceful evening in nature.

After a relaxed lunch, we take on the dramatic climb over the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 meters elevation), offering endless panoramic views of ancient, terraced Berber villages.
